Lewisham NHS SOS

The coalition goverment has embarked on a top-down reorganisation of the NHS despite such a move being in neither Lib Dem or Tory election manifestos.

Concerns have been expressed that the reorganisation will allow a large percentage of the NHS's business to be taken over by the private sector leading to health care for profit, not for patients.  Andy Burnham, Labour's Health spokesman has been leading the campaign to drop the NHS bill.  You can find out more about Andy's campaign here.

Locally, Lewisham Labour are backing health professionals and service users fighting against the bill.  To join Lewisham NHS SOS, click here.
